Providing high-quality, community-based services in Missouri and Kentucky is the hallmark of Finck Supported Living Services. That legacy continues today in Missouri, as the company supports individuals in individualized supported living (ISL) homes in Mexico, Fulton, Columbia and Sedalia as well as Fisher Heights Apartments in Fulton and Timbrook House group home in New Bloomfield. In Lexington and Frankfort, Kentucky we staff Supported Community Living (SCL) homes and provide Supported Employment Services as well as Adult Foster Care across Central Kentucky.
We opened our first ISLs in 2005 as way to help Missourians with developmental disabilities thrive in a community environment. Ten years later we began supporting individuals first in Frankfort and now in Lexington, building on our commitment to involve individuals in their community and help them achieve a better quality of life.
It may sound idealistic, but we truly love making a difference in people’s lives, one at a time. Operating our supported living residences is a powerful, rewarding way to make a difference—not just for the people we serve, but for each of our employees.
The idea behind Supported Employment is the belief that every individual is capable of working competitively in the community if the right kind of job and work environment can be found.
Supported Community Living homes also provide individuals with the opportunity to live in a more personal environment than those provided in group homes or residential care facilities.
Individualized Supported Living provides individuals with the opportunity to live in a more personal environment than those provided in group homes or residential care facilities.
In Missouri, Shared Living homes give the individual with developmental disabilities the option of choosing to live with another individual, a couple or a family in the community.
